Home Savings is committed to reinvesting in the local communities it serves by providing leadership, employee involvement, and financial support through the Home Savings Charitable Foundation. Since 1991, the Foundation has provided nearly $17 million in support to non-profit organizations in our communities. Supporting our goal of providing community support, economic development, and area revitalization, some grant awards made by the Foundation in our local underserved communities include the United Way Success After 6 program, Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, Refuge of Hope Ministries, St. Clairsville Recreation Center Get Active Scholarship Fund, and Metropolitan Housing Authority’s Home Ownership and Financial Fitness program.

2018 Torch Awards

2018 Torch Awards

We are all better together!

This video was presented at the 2018 Torch Awards that were held on June 14th to honor BBB Accredited Businesses and leaders that exemplify BBB Standards Trust. The Torch Awards are made possible due to the support of the Better Business Bureau of Youngstown’s TrustBuilders. The TrustBuilders are a group of banking institutions in our Valley with long-term commitments to earn and keep the trust of the public. We invited VEC, Inc. to participate in the filming of this video because we share similar core values, belief in our community and building high trust relationships!
